Only The Best Is Good EnoughIn 1955 His Highness Prince Adolph Bentheim-Tecklenburg and a businessman Leo Lubke established a factory to produce soft furniture. They named their factory “COR” in honour of three hearts, the symbol painted on the arms of a noble house Tecklenburg, one of the most ancient noble houses in Europe. Only one year later the factory received a prize for its first collection from the Design centre of the Northern Westphalia. After such a successful beginning, furniture of the company COR began to present in stylish interiors throughout the world. From the date the factory was established till nowadays the most original designers of our epoch created models for COR: for example, Luidgi Collani, Johan Hoffmann, F.V.Meller, a professor Wolf Schneider, Peter Mali. So it is no wonder that prizes and awards of prestigious design forums repeatedly marked the models of soft furniture COR. More than often models COR are transformers. Turn a seat, displace a chair’s back, make another, as a rule, not obvious transformation, and you’ll get more area to use, new opportunities for rest, relaxation and modelling of your space. The furniture COR is constructed following the simple principle – only the best is good enough. This principle shows the main property of the factory: the skilful and highly professional attitude to the craft and only qualitative materials. From the first sketches up to final step of a needle, each detail COR is checked up by time.
